Zach Cooper’s not exactly thrilled when he has to move into the village of Greendale. This changes when he meets his beautiful neighbor Hannah. She is the daughter of the famous author R.L. Stine (Jack Black), whose GÄNSEHAUT-novels are selling successfully throughout the world. Stine behaves very strange and soon Zach finds out why: The creatures in his books are real and can only be held in check as long as they are imprisoned between two book covers. Accidentally freed Zach a whole mob of monsters that now hunt down the city’s inhabitants.
